On the Passing of former County legislator Sue Swanson

WMCHealth is saddened to learn of the passing of former Westchester County Legislator Sue Swanson.  Ms. Swanson was instrumental, along with many others, including current board member Mark Tulis and former board chair Steven Galef, in drafting the legislation establishing the Westchester County Health Care Corporation.  This enabled Westchester Medical Center, and later WMCHealth, to grow and thrive to the success it is today.  We recognize her contribution to securing access to care for hundreds of thousands of Hudson Valley residents each year, and the countless lives saved.
