Dr. Melcer is a graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY.

Since completing his fellowship in 2006, Dr. Melcer spent two years as a heart failure and echo attending at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Melcer has served the community surrounding White Plains Hospital. He is also a member of the American College of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography.
