Born in New York but raised in Ohio, Dr. Stephen Pan, completed an undergraduate degree at Columbia University and attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh, followed by further training in internal medicine, biomedical informatics, and cardiovascular disease at Stanford Hospital in California. He completed an additional fellowship in heart failure & transplant cardiology at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York, after which he was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYU where he also served as the co-director of the cardiac sarcoidosis program before relocating to Westchester.

Dr. Pan is passionate about helping people with heart muscle diseases, especially those with infiltrative diseases of the heart including cardiac amyloidosis and sarcoidosis, as well as those affected by inherited (genetic) diseases of the heart such as in familial cardiomyopathy. He has conducted research including clinical trials in cardiovascular genetics, novel heart failure therapeutics, heart recovery after ventricular assist devices, and infiltrative diseases of the heart.

He is board certified in cardiovascular medicine and advanced heart failure cardiology, and is a member of HFSA and ISHLT.
