Dr. Chirag Gandhi is the Director of Neurosurgery at Westchester Medical Center and Professor and Chair of Neurosurgery at New York Medical College. As one of the few dual-trained neurosurgeons in the country, he has an expertise in both cerebrovascular surgery as well as minimally-invasive endovascular neurosurgery.

The care that Dr. Gandhi provides is based on collaboration with other specialists as well as through joint decision-making with patients and families.

Dr. Gandhi is also a well-recognized leader in the field with over 150 research publications, books, and national appearances. He is an active member and leader in the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, AANS/CNS Cerebrovascular Section, as well the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery. His various honors include Alpha Omega Alpha as well as the BrainLab Outstanding Clinical Study Award. Dr. Gandhi is the Program Director of the Neurosurgery Residency as well as the Neuro-Interventional Surgery Fellowship.
