The division aims to provide specialized care focusing on the following areas:

  • Sarcoma
  • Upper gastrointestinal malignancies
  • Pancreatic cancers
  • Colorectal cancers
  • Hepatobiliary cancers
  • Endocrine tumors
  • Melanoma

What Sets Us Apart

Our surgeons in the Division of Surgical Oncology are an integral part of the Westchester Medical Center with complex cases discussed weekly in the numerous tumor boards onsite. This effectively provides patients with comprehensive oncologic care including inputs from medical oncology, radiation oncology, palliative care, social work, and many other services. The division of surgical oncology also aims to reach out to our affiliate centers in the greater Hudson Valley to provide innovative surgical treatment to patients with complex malignancies and actively raises statewide awareness about cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
